Some tardy gift givers tried to get their shopping done before stores closed on Christmas Eve.

It's Christmas Eve and many of people are still searching for gifts. We know Christmas is the 25th every year, so why do we wait?

"Procrastinating, pretty much! Can't decide actually if that's the right gift to get someone or trying to figure if they'll like it, maybe they won't like it," said Tallahassee shopper Tommy Freeman.

Whether you were searching for some old-fashioned toys or the latest and greatest technology, you probably weren't alone if you didn't have your shopping done. Even with all the foot traffic, some late gift givers didn't let the malls dampen their Christmas spirit.

"You know you can't get stressed because...I mean we do this every year, so I just go with it pretty much," said Freeman.
