The school redistricting proposal is on the table in Valdosta and school leaders want to hear from parents.
Valdosta City Schools is holding a meeting for parents to attend Tuesday and give their final input on the redistricting map. This is the last chance for parents to let the school board know of any issues with their proposed plan. Assistant Superintendent Alvin Hudson says the more parents that show up the better.
"We've received some good feed back from some of our parents and of course we have some parents that they have a concern about the rezoning process, but once again we are doing what's best for our students and also to make sure we have adequate space for future growth," said Hudson/
Tuesday's meeting will be held at W.G. Nunn Elementary school at 7 pm.
