Law Enforcement and Fire Agents Get Daddy Daughter Tickets

The mayor of Tallahassee and the Tallahassee Northside Rotary show their appreciation to local law enforcement and fire service agencies.

They did so by giving them tickets to the Sixth Annual Daddy Daughter Dance.

Mayor John Marks presented the tickets in his office Thursday morning to representatives of the Tallahassee Police and Fire Departments and the Leon County Sheriff's Office.

Leila Shuffler, Rotary Daddy Daughter Dance Chairperson, "It's really great. We call it birth to Boniva because we take girls as young as three months last year won the prize for youngest daughter and the oldest dad was 78 that won the prize. So, it's all ages. It's just a great night."

The Daddy Daughter Dance is the rotary's annual fundraiser.

It is Saturday, February 5th, from 6 to 9:30 at the Moon in Tallahassee.
