WHAT:
Press conference for Locally Owned Tallahassee, unveiling its new mascot for the coming years, and announcing the campaign kickoff for the inaugural Shop Local Holiday Weekend in Tallahassee (Dec 7-9).
LOCATION: The Shops at Lake Ella

WHO:
Joe Berg, President of Locally Owned Tallahassee and Publisher of Capital City Villager (introductions and unveiling)
Mayor John Marks (Speaking for City of Tallahassee and announcing a city proclamation declaring Dec 7-9 Shop Local Holi-day weekend.)
Commission Nick Maddox (speaking for Leon County, and announcing a county proclamation declaring Dec 7-9 Shop Local Holiday Weekend.)
Jean Bates, owner of Luy and Leo's Cupcakery and President of the Midtown Merchants Association.
Sam Varn, owner of Awards 4 U and President of the Market District Merchant's Association.
Representatives of other market districts, and other invited esteemed guests from other civic organizations, including new-ly inaugurated commissioner Mary Ann Lindley.
(All members of the dais will be available for press conference immediately following the announcement.)
