Tallahassee,FL - New Leaf Market Co-op will hold their sixth annual Farm Tour this Saturday and Sunday. The tour features 41 farms all within a two-hour drive in the Florida panhandle and south Georgia. New Leaf Market Co-op is a locally owned retail grocer serving the Big Bend area since 1974. They're committed to to building a vibrant and healthy local community by providing natural and organic foods and products.
Bobbie Golden of Golden Acres Ranch is a producer for the market and understands the importance of the farm tour on educating the consumers. "The important thing is that people are really understanding where their meat comes from. Also to understand how important it is to support local people. We're small farmers, niche market and we just need people out there to help us and that's what maintains our product," said Golden.

TALLAHASSEE – The New Leaf Market Co-op (NLMC) will host its Sixth Annual Farm Tour on October 19 – 20 featuring 41 farms within a two-hour drive in the Florida Panhandle and South Georgia.
NLMC will launch the tour during a media availability Thursday, October 17 at 10 a.m. Bobbie Golden from Golden Acres Ranch and Louise Divine with Turkey Hill Farms will be available for interviews and offering samples straight from the farm.
