VSU Students in Free Enterprise opened the SIFE Skills Success Center in the Ora Lee West Community Monday.
The new 1,700 square foot building houses an art room, music room and math and science room.
Organizers say this is a really good opportunity for them to make a difference in the community.
"In the community center we were only given one room but now we have multiple rooms and we can have some on computers, we can have have some kids doing art projects, some kids with music lessons. The possibilities are infinite," said VSU SIFE President Joe Ervin.
Officials say having this new facility gives the children something more constructive to do.
