The newly expanded Sam’s Club at 450 Norman Drive will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 3 at 8 a.m. to celebrate the grand reopening of the Valdosta Sam’s Club. Mayor John Gayle and Myrna Ballard, the President of the Valdosta Chamber, will speak at the ceremony.
The project represents a reinvestment in the club, its members and the community, providing them with incredible savings on quality merchandise in an exceptional shopping environment. Since opening its doors in 1997, the Valdosta Sam’s Club has been supplying its members with a wide variety of fresh produce, quality meats, office supplies, apparel and more.
With the expansion comes a new Hearing Aid Center staffed by a certified audiologist, Home Meal Solutions and an expanded selection of fresh produce and clothing merchandise.
“We are thrilled to introduce our new Hearing Aid Center to our members,” said club manager Amy Matlaga. “We have also added home meal solutions to help our members provide hearty meals in a hurry and we are excited to provide even more well-known brands to our community.”
In celebration of the grand reopening Sam’s Club will present grants to local organizations to positively impact the Valdosta community. The company will also host showcase events highlighting exciting products like ChordBuddy, a guitar learning system as well as the Parmesan Cheese Wheel Crackling.
