News Release: City of Tallahassee
An egg-travaganza is planned for this Sunday, April 20, as the City’s Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs (PRNA) department hosts its 55th Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Activities will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. in Myers Park, located at 913 Myers Park Drive.
Children are invited to bring their parents for an egg-citing afternoon taking pictures with the Easter Bunny and hunting for those prized Easter eggs. Games, crafts and music begin at 1 p.m., and the Easter Bunny will be available for pictures until 2:15 p.m.
Promptly at 2:30 p.m., the Easter Egg Hunt will begin. Children 10 and under are welcome to hunt for over 12,000 egg-spertly hidden Easter eggs. For the hunt, children will be separated into five age groups: 2 and under, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10 years old. Parents will be allowed to help children 4 and under search for eggs.
This event is FREE to all. Parking will be available at Myers Park and across the street at the PRNA Administrative Offices.
This year’s sponsors include Winn Dixie, Trousdell Gymnastics Center, Fun Station, Skate World, Challenger Learning Center and Capital Lanes.
