Tallahassee, FL - Despite this weekend's rain, attendees at the Tallahassee Winter Festival seemed to have a blast.
Parks and Rec workers with the City of Tallahassee say the rain did damper Saturday's attendance a bit, but, overall, the event was great.
The Kids' activities and ice skating had to be suspended for a brief time to wait for the rain to pass.
It took days to set up the winter wonderland, and workers were out Monday clearing it all out.
Chuck Norman with In Tents Events says, "You come out and the party's already happened and the stuff's dirty and wet. It's a little bit more work to take it down. There's a lot of different parts of the event and it takes a long time to set it up."
While clean-up crews expected to have the Winter Festival set-up cleared by the end of the day, ice Skating at Klemen Plaza will continue until January 5th.
