Moultrie, Georgia - May 4, 2012 -
Noted Russian jewelry designer, Ilya Abelsky, creator of the unique collection of hand painted Faberge' miniature style eggs will display his hand crafted miniatures in a special, three-day exhibition hosted by Griner Jewelery in Moultrie, Georgia.
To view pictures of the eggs, click on the "Photos" tab above.
Carrying on the tradition of the renowned 19th century Carl Faberge', jeweler of the Russian Imperial family, and in the multi-cultural Spring custom of giving hand painted eggs, Abelsky will be on hand to discuss the artistry and history that defines his collection.
Abelsky has exhibited his creations in London, Paris, Vienna and Berlin along with displays and travels in major cities across the United States.
"The enamel process is a lost art that it is very labor-intensive, with each piece painted by hand and is unique from the others," says Abelsky.
While original Faberge' eggs are kept behind glass and are untouchable in the world's finest museums and private collections,
Abelsky's creations are affordable and touchable keepsakes for all.
The event is May 3-5 at Griner Jewelery.
