Tallahassee, FL -- Tallahassee's Scottsdale Academy preschool's began a local service project Monday. The schools are trying to collect toys for the Tallahassee Memorial Children's Center.
Lego's, Matchbox Cars, bubbles, Playdough and more will be given to sick children during their stay at TMH.
"We decided we were going to give back, and we were going to donate, have our parents do non-cash donations of toys! For the pediatric kids that are there just to bring them some comfort," said Scottsdale Academy owner Jennifer Keister.
Community donations are being accepted at both Scottsdale Academy locations. One school is located at 3498 Mahan Drive in Tallahassee and the other is located at 3693 Coolidge Ct.
If you want to donate, don't wait. Donations are being accepted through May 3rd.
