Tallahassee knows how to celebrate the changing of the season and Saturday, April 2 was no exception as the annual Grand Parade led into spring.
With flowers blooming and sunny days, Springtime in Tallahassee is here to stay and it's time to celebrate.
The 43rd Annual Grand parade and festival had thousands of people filling the streets to cheer on the community.
Some of the parade goers enjoyed more than just the floats.
Danny Savage's, favorite things about the parade were,"The bands, the music, the beads and the t-shirts."
Monroe Street is usually busy with the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But over the weekend it was home to one of the biggest southeastern parades.
There was more than two hundred local, regional and national vendors. Offering tons of food, music, arts and crafts.
The WCTV news team was thrilled to be apart of the Tallahassee tradition.
It doesn't matter what your age is. Spring means something to everyone...
Peggy Fulton says,"When the weather turns nice and the flowers start blooming, everything just turns beautiful."
Tina Forrester says, "Flowers and warm weather and enjoying the weather with your family."
