More than 1.6 million kids across Florida can receive free meals during the summer at the Summer BreakSpot, the state’s summer nutrition program for children 18 and under provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
When school lets out, Summer BreakSpots around Leon County and surrounding areas will serve free healthy meals and offer fun learning and recreational activities. Summer BreakSpots will begin opening June 4, 2012.
