Tallahassee, FL -- August 5, 2012

Familiar faces of Tallahassee rocked the runway tonight at the 1st Capital City Fashion Show to benefit The American Lung Association in Florida (ALAF). Aloft Hotel poolside was the venue for this evening of impeccable fashion.

“I was thrilled to walk the runway tonight. The fight for healthy air and healthy lungs is important to me and my family, said Commissioner Gil Ziffer , ALAF board member. Other models included, WCTV's own Rob Nucatola, Elizabeth Mack, Jane Marks, Gail Stansberry-Ziffer and members of the Tallahassee Fire Department. The money raised from the fashion show will help the ALAF to continue their lifesaving work in all of our communities. The models wore clothes by Goodwill, hair and makeup by Haute Headz and the show was styled by Stephanie Hafer and Mark Burton.

Over 100,000 people in Northwest Florida have been diagnosed with lung disease. Lung cancer continues to be the number one cancer killer for men and women. For more information, visit LungFla.org or call 850.386.2065.
