Tallahassee, FL --- April 28, 2012
Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra's Maestro took her last bow tonight.
Miriam Burns wrapped up her Tallahassee career at tonight's performance at Ruby Diamond Auditorium.
Burns has served as TSO's conductor for the last six years. It's not known yet where she plans to go next. TSO will audition several guest conductors next season to determine who will take Burns' place.
Also at tonight's performance guest artist cellist Matthew Allen returned to his home city of Tallahassee. WCTV's Triston Sanders interviewed him on stage during intermission. Allen told Sanders that he bleeds garnert and gold and is enjoying his return to the Capital City.
