The Tallahassee mall was filled with man's best friend today.
Be The Solution - a Tallahassee non-profit - hosted their second annual tally top dog vs. capital city kitty contest.
They host the event in an effort to end the overpopulation problem.
Different vendors set up shop to showcase their products. Pet adoption agencies were also there.
Each pet owner was able to register their pet for a competition that will go on for the next six weeks.
"It's a dog versus pet competition to see who's going to have the best pet in Tallahassee," said Gerry Phipps, president of Be The Solution. It's a dollar a vote.
"Go to tallytopdog.com and you could look at all the pictures, you could enter for $10."
Proceeds for the event will go to the charity. They will use it to cover the cost of spayding and neutering pets.
