Utility Work May Temporarily Lower Water Pressure in Areas of City

Valdosta, GA - The Utilities Department will be exercising valves in preparation for a fire hydrant replacement at the intersection of Ricardo Street and N. Forrest Street.

The valve exercising work is scheduled to take place on Thursday, Oct. 25, beginning at 10 p.m. through midnight (weather permitting), so as to minimize inconvenience to our customers. Customers may see lower than normal water pressures in the following areas during this work: Ricardo Street, Hal Circle, Dedo Street, Moore Street between N. Forrest Street and Toni Terrance Drive, as well as N. Forrest Street Between E. Park Avenue and Lausanne Drive.
