Valdosta, GA - Valdosta State will host “Take a Kid to the Game” this basketball season. The Lady Blazers will host December 19 at a 3 p.m. game against Fort Valley State while the Blazers will host January 6 at a 7:30 p.m. game against Carver Bible.
Children ages 13 and under are invited to attend these special events. Kids are admitted free with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket (there is no limit on the number of children’s tickets with a paid adult admission).
Valdosta youth will have the opportunity to experience the college game day atmosphere at The Complex and watch exciting basketball as both the Lady Blazers and Blazers aim for a victory.
Valdosta State is hosting two of more than 700 games across the nation as part of the Take a Kid to the Game initiative in its 13th season.
Children admitted will also receive a special NCAA ruler and a JJ-Jumper Growth Chart.
