Dozens of people spent the afternoon on the old courthouse lawn for Valdosta's Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series.
They tapped their feet and sang along to Tuesday's featured band, 41 South.
The week-long event is part of Historic Preservation Month, which helps build Valdosta's future.
"It's a great way to have lunch, isn't it?, says Wayne Corbett, of Lanier County. "Nice music, it's warm, pleasant outside; being with all the folks and everything. It's a good thing, a real good thing."
The event will be happening every afternoon through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Each day a new band will perform.
