Crawfordville, Florida – The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners announces the relocation of the Housing Services offices. Meridian Community Services Group and Capital Area Community Action Agency administer the County’s housing programs and has most recently moved from the BOCC Annex on Crescent Way.
Meridian Community Services Group administers the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) and State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program. Meridian will be available to assist the public on Thursdays at 1:00p.m.–4:00p.m., at the BOCC Complex, Administration Building, 3093 Crawfordville Highway, and can also be reached at (850) 877-1908.
In addition, Capital Area Community Action Agency administers the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), and has relocated to The Barry Buildings, 3295 Crawfordville Highway, Building #4. Capital Area Community Action Agency will be open Monday-Thursday at 8:00a.m.–5:00p.m. (Closed 12Noon–2:00p.m. daily), and can also be reached by phone at (850) 926-3122.
