Women's Forum Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

A group of women learned how to use their business minds .. and "think pink."

The Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce held a Women's Forum Tuesday.

Women wore pink to support the community-wide breast cancer awareness campaign.

One of the speakers, Dr. Stephanie Lee, says one in eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer.

She urges breast self awareness. She says, "Basically, what it means is get to know your breasts. you should look at them, you should feel them and know what's normal. If you can't remember to do it or willing to do it, ask your partners, because they sure will remember to check them once a month."

FSU Dean of College of Business Caryn Beck-Dudley was the featured speaker.
