One of the most beloved fictional heroines of our time is brought to life through a wonderfully imaginative play based on the book by Frances Hodgson Burnett, author of the Secret Garden. With England in the throes of World War I and her father on the front, young Sara Crewe must find the strength to face adversity and persevere in an English boarding school. Touching on the theme of bullying, this classic tale is as relevant today as when first written.

Performances are as follows:

  • Friday, February 21st at 7:30pm

  • Saturday, February 22nd at 7:30pm

  • Sunday, February 23rd at 2:00pm

  • Thursday, February 27th at 7:30pm

  • >li>Friday, February 28th at 7:30pm
  • Saturday, March 1st at 7:30pm

  • Sunday, March 2nd at 2:00pm

Tickets are:

  • $14 for children (12 and under)

  • $16 for students and seniors

  • $18 for adults

Tickets can be reserved online ( beginning Saturday, February 15th.

There will be a special “Dolly and Tea” Performance at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 1st.

Tickets for the Saturday, March 1st 1:00pm “Dolly and Tea” performance are:

  • $10 for children 12 and under

  • $12 for adults, students and seniors

Young Actors Theatre, one of the oldest independent youth theatre programs in the country, is celebrating its 38th consecutive year of training and production. It is the mission of Young Actors Theatre to expose, educate and enlighten the diverse community of greater Tallahassee and the region of North Florida through live theatre.
