Folks with the Walker Ford Community Center are hosting a slew of events to celebrate African American Heritage. The Annual African American Heritage Festival in Celebration of Emancipation 2011 kicks off with a volleyball tournament, has a program for teens and cyberbullying, gospel singing, a spring fest for seniors and a church service. There are tons of events, free to the public and open to anyone wanting to celebrate!
