Tallahassee FL - Every seat was full as the lights dimmed before a jazz celebrity hit FSU's stage. Jazz artist, Marcus Roberts, and his group, modern jazz, held a free concert at the school he both graduated from and is a professor at FSU.

The tickets for the concert ran out just an hour after they were available. Around 1,400 people attended the concert to see some of the groups original music. although the tickets were free, Roberts hoped the concert got people excited about jazz music, and his group. He asked the audience to kindly think about donating so they could really launch their group.
