TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (April 18, 2011) -
"Season Four" of TCC Idol is coming to Tallahassee Community College at 6 p.m., Friday, April 22.
The event will take place at TCC's Turner Auditorium, which is located inside the College's Fine and Performing Arts Center.
Earlier this month, the College hosted auditions for TCC Idol, an event that brings together students from TCC, Florida State University and Florida A&M University. A spinoff of the hit television series American Idol, TCC Idol is a supersized version of the College's wildly popular Open Mic series.
Approximately 15 acts will compete for the title of TCC Idol. The evening will also include three feature performances and two surprise guests.
TCC Idol will even feature its own version of Randy, Steven and J-Lo as the following individuals will serve as judges: Dr. Mike Armstrong, TCC film and media professor; Donmetrie Clark, TCC communications and humanities professor; Meri Culp, TCC English professor; DJ Nosaj; and Robin Malone, former TCC student and TCC Idol winner.
Admission is free.
