On Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 8 am – 6 pm, on the gymnasium floor of Lincoln High School, Tiger Rock Martial Arts International (TRMAI) academies from all over Florida will be participating in an all day, all rank, taekwondo tournament. Taekwondo students ages 4 and up will compete in (as curriculum dictates): forms, one-steps and sparring. All ranks and ages of competitors will be present which include “Cubs” (4 and 5 year olds); White, Yellow, Green, Blue, Brown, Red and Black (up to 5th degree only).

Competitors are travelling to Tallahassee from Crawfordville, Pensacola, Naples, Oldsmar, Gulf Breeze, Spring Hill, Naples, Tampa, Jacksonville and Pace.

Opening ceremonies will include the national anthem, donation to Whole Child Leon and a martial arts demonstration.

Eight competition rings will be in motion at the same time, with competitors competing in a safely matted environment. Instructors from participating TRMAI schools will judge the tournament which is open to the public for viewing.

Tickets are $7. Free for ages 3 and under.

Concessions will be available.
