Wild Adventures Seeks to Hire 200 at Job Fair

[UPDATE] Valdosta, Ga. -- February 15, 2012 --

Wild Adventures began its job fair that seeks to hire 200 employees for the summer.

July is usually its busiest month and the park employs over 700 people. As for the job fair, over 600 people applied online for the 200 available positions.

Wendi Burke, the Human Resources Director for Wild Adventures, said "for us it's really important that anyone that hasn't had a job before, we can come in and they can be trained. On a ride, as a lifeguard, or they can be trained in food and beverage. And then usually the next season they come back a lot of times they have an opportunity to be promoted from within."

According to CNN, the Obama administration had requested the FAA to approve the use of drones to use on Americans citizens. Some drones are being used today along the border according to the DHS. They (obama) want to increase the number to gather Intel on simple people like yourselves. Can't blame this on the Tea Party or conservatives. The democrat party were the ones to test the affects of LSD on blacks and now they are worming their way to take away our liberties...

Drones using on citizens to collect intel? You are extremely paranoid. Sounds like you should join David Koresh or Ruby Ridge's outfit. Who feeds you this info? Scary that there's people out there that believe that.

What? For real? ... you believe this conspiracy stuff? Step back, breath, pause, then think...and do think for yourself. Don't let Glen Beck, Rush, or Sean Hannity think for you. You can do it! Just say "Yes I can".

Larry my lost friend, Stop listening to Media Matters or Huff& Puff Post. I heard this on CNN about the use of drones on everyday citizens even though these drones has been in use on the southern border for past two or three years. A Few weeks ago we had a court ruling pertaining to LEA'S(law enforcement agencies) using your GPS in your car or cell phone to track a citizens. The court ruled they must have a search warrant. You really need to get out more...

Why are you tea party right wing nuts so negative? Perhaps, listening to Sean and Rush, of whom are very negative day in and day out, has you influenced. To your dismay, jobs are coming back and the economy is mending after the biggest crash in 2007 prior to Obama taking the oath of office. Some want to go back to the policies that made it ripe for the crash. Go figure! But then again, they aren't thinking for themselves. Rush, Glen, and Sean are thinking for them.

Good parents say no a lot....glad my parent said no but it appears the liberals think no is a cuss word. No don't smoke. No don't touch the fire. No drinking and driving. If the democrats would say no more we wouldn't be bankrupt.

To God Bless America, Obama's not ruining the country but rather cleaning up a mess that was EXTREMELY deep before he took office. It's a miracle that we've come this far in only 3 1/2 years. It took Japan a decade. God bless you.

Hey Whipple, good idea. Your man Newt wants to do that but in the form of janitorial jobs for students. I don't know if it was here on this planet or on his moon colony, where most Republicans are at now-a-days

Some people will never be satisfied, no matter how many steps are made towards improving the economy. 200 jobs? That's 200 more than we had yesterday!

You are right. The Democratic Party is the party of "yes." Yes to higher taxes. Yes to ridiculous environmental regulations that are crushing the economy and sending jobs overseas. Yes to the tyranny of Unions that are sending jobs overseas. Yes to perversion. Yes to the extermination of tens of millions pre-born children which far and above exceeds anything Hitler and his Nazis could have ever dreamed of. Yes to the welfare plantation which has enslaved generations of blacks and has turned their communities into social and economic wastelands. Yes to the elimination of the freedom to practice ones religion as he chooses. Yes to shutting down the most successful space program in the history of the world. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. But then again, you probably don't.
