If it's spicy food you love, the capital city Chili Cook-off is for you. The event features live music, pony rides and a live auction. You can take part in this event on Saturday from 11 to 3 at the Market Square Shopping Center.

If physical exercise peaks your interest, Head on over to Tom Brown park for the Stomping Out type 2 diabetes run/walk. It starts at 8 and goes until noon.

Or head over to the Riley House for a walking tour of Tallahassee to celebrate contributions of African Americans in American Society. The free tour includes the old capitol and the Museum of Florida History and begins at 9am.

Music lovers, lend me your ears. You can hear the soothing voices of the Tallahassee boys' choir on Saturday as well. They will be performing at the National Guard Armory on Pat Thomas Parkway in Quincy, Florida. Doors open at 6:30 and the concert begins at 7. Proceeds go to the Gadsden County meals on wheels program.
