How would they get the gas to get there? Sure the system is abused but what system is not abused? Most people really need the assistance and would prefer to have a job to support themselves then to depend on others/government. The government waste Millions each year on Medicaid fraud but I don't see the taxpayers complaining about that. What a bunch of cry babies you people who have a job turned out to be. In case you have not noticed several jobs will be terminated in the future and I pray you do not have to walk in the jobless shoes.

I wonder how many of those griping about potato chips being taken off food stamps were at the shelter last night helping out or buying junk food for the people forced off the streets?

Absolutely zero. Just like the food stamp deal. If you don't work you don't deserve to eat. Besides removing potato chips from food stamps won't cause anybody to starve.
