What would you do if a hurricane hit Tallahassee?
That's what emergency management agencies from all over Leon County discussed today during a disaster training exercise.
Emergency responders from TPD to the Red Cross reviewed different scenarios and response methods.
"A lot of people have seen busy tropics. We've been very fortunate with no impact to Florida at this point. But we're not out of hurricane season yet. It doesn't end until the end of November so let's be aware and let's be prepared," says Richard Smith of the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
In an emergency, Smith says people should pack enough food, water and medication to last them at least 72 hours.
