FHP Release DUI Stats

The Florida Highway Patrol has released the results its 'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' campaign.

The results show that FHP made about 500 DUI arrests and issued nearly 36,000 citations statewide. It was done in part of a national effort to cut-down on drunk driving.

"Compared to last year, the total number of citations was down this year. But DUI arrests did increase over the same holiday enforcement period of last year," says Lt. Jeff Frost of FHP.

'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' runs nationally every year from December 16 through January 2. It's organized by the U.S. Department of Transportation's National Highway and Traffic Safety.

Yeah they miss a few. I think if they issued that many fines and tickets, calculated into the hundreds of thousands of dollars/ slave credits, how many innocent people were pulled over, detained and had their papers checked with no probable cause at all except just driving down a certain road. Crooks with badges filling the state coffers with more slave credits. Hope youre proud of yourself violating so many peoples rights. Nazi check points ahead. Papers ,, shooooow me your papersssss.

Best reasons to stay home and not drive anywhere during a holiday period as FHP and local LEOs still miss about 20% that don`t get caught but are out there.
