Upgrades are coming soon to StarMetro's service.
The transit service was awarded a one point two million dollar grant by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
StarMetro says the grant be used to upgrade its software and to establish a one-stop transportation resource center allowing disabled, low-income, senior and veteran customers to schedule trips easier.
StarMetro estimates it may take about eighteen months before these new services are implemented.
