- 5th in the nation & the Gators would finish #13.

Yep, dissapointed. Not sure with this record, how someone can accept a 900,000 plus raise and still show face, when we have professors and administors and researchers on campus who are leaving for being underpaid

It's a big reason our country is failing - we idolize sports figures, and pay them millions because they have the God-given ability to play a child's game well. College professors on the other hand, have years of higher education, and are paid poorly considering their intelligence. And then our day care workers, raising our future generations are paid minimum wage. Crazy.

It was so nice Saturday to watch a game where officials didn't blow the whistle at the least little thing. We have had to put up with one-sided downright cheating ACC referees all year and the SEC refs that called the game did a fine job. The Anti Collision Conference (ACC) should take note. Yes the Seminole offense didn't show up, but the defense was outstanding.

Not sure I'd brag about the defense - UF basically doesn't have a quarterback and they were able to score 7.

If you dont blame the refs you blame Dumbo Fisher please admit it FSU went into the season way over ranked and had a terrible year.If FSU were in the sec you guys would be crying because you only beat Furman

FSU cheats - period. They are the most undisciplined team in college football today. After his behavior in the Florida game last Saturday night Reid needs to turn in his equipment and find something else to do. Shameful. FSU is no football powerhouse and never will be. Jimbo needs to earn his money and get this team under control. Way too many that think they are superstars.

    It is better now.

It is going to take time to build upon Jimbo Fishers new method. Not just barley 2 years. FSU fans have got better about handling their loss games. I remember the mess that came from the game losses in the early 2000s. So used to being in the top 5 (after all the team of the 90s) they wear 'expecting' undefeated/min. losses then the blame game of Bowden, Chris Rix, it was raining, Rix didn't sleep well the night before, etc all started.

"Football fans are disappointed with the 2011 college football season." Jeez, can't imagine why.

I guess FSU fans are just grateful they didn't have a SEC schedule.

yea if they had and SEC schedule, they would have 2 wins, both wins would be the early season scrubs outta the conference that they wax every year. i doubt if they could beat Kentucky and Ole Miss two SEC doormats.

If you look at FSU's overall record against the SEC, it's not bad. The ACC is just balanced this year and the SEC can't say that.

They beat the only SEC team they played.

I'ts OK. Next year FSU will be ranked in the preseason top ten again and our fans will proclaim "we're back" all summer then the team will proceed to lose four or five games. I's been like this for the last ten years so I'm used to it.

Coaching! We have the players plain and simple. Look at the film and the coaching mistakes.

So fans aren't really dissapointed with the "College Football" season, there have been some great games. What you really mean to say is "FSU Football" season.

Um, actually, since survey respondents also were questioned about FAMU and Florida, the headline is accurate.

Please folks, treat grammar with respect. *You're* is the contraction for You are. The glaring error of using 'your' when you should use 'you're' negates any modicum of credibility you might have had.
