TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- A ground stop at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is causing flight delays and at least one cancellation so far in Tallahassee.
Currently two future flight departures are delayed at the Tallahassee International Airport. One flight has been canceled.
Delta Flight 692, scheduled to depart at 10:20 a.m. has been delayed to 2:05 p.m. Delta Flight 907, which was scheduled to depart at 1 p.m., has been canceled. Delta Flight 1968 has been delayed from 5:57 pm. to 9:30 p.m.
As of 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, no other departing flights from TLH have been delayed.
Other flights from Atlanta to Tallahassee have also been delayed or canceled. Delta flight 907 to Tallahassee has been canceled , while flight 1968 to Tallahassee is scheduled to arrive at 8:55 p.m.
Flights to Atlanta's airport have been temporarily halted at Atlanta's airport because of severe storms moving through the region.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport tweeted earlier Wednesday that the Federal Aviation Administration has ordered a ground stop, which means that flights heading to Atlanta from other airports will be held until it is lifted.
