GBI identifies victim in Moultrie death investigation

MOULTRIE, Ga. (WCTV) -- The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has released the identity of the victim in a death investigation.

The GBI says 21-year-old Jasmine Jenise Lee was found dead on Saturday in the 500 block of 1st Avenue NW in Moultrie.

Officials say that preliminary autopsy reports did not reveal any injuries, but did reveal some medical issues that are believed to have been a contributing factor in Lee's death.

Toxicology reports are still pending at this time and will be reviewed by the GBI before a final autopsy report is released.

The Moultrie Police Department requested assistance from the GBI in the death investigation.

MOULTRIE, Ga. (WCTV) -- Authorities in Colquitt County are investigating a death.

According to the Moultrie Police Department, the death happened Saturday in the 500 block of 1st Avenue NW.

An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause of death.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation at the request of the Moultrie Police Department.

No further details have been released.
