Motorcyclist killed in Marion County crash

OCALA, Fla. (WCTV) -- The driver of a motorcycle was killed during a crash involving an SUV Saturday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 200 and NW 44th Street.

The crash report states that Jack Reid, 64, was riding his motorcycle on County Road 200 in front of the SUV when, for unknown reasons, he made an evasive action within the roadway. The SUV then struck the motorcycle.

Reid was pronounced dead at the hospital.
