TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Traffic on I-10 eastbound was at a standstill Sunday after several trees fell across the interstate.
The Florida Highway Patrol says four trees fell across the eastbound lanes of I-10 between Capital Circle NE and Mahan Drive exits.
All lanes were blocked and and at one point traffic was backed up for several miles. As of 5 p.m., the trees had been removed and traffic was flowing smoothly again.
The fallen trees came after a round of severe storms moved through the city Sunday afternoon. Several trees are reportedly down throughout the city.
