BLAKELY, Ga. (WCTV) – Three men are in custody following two drive-by shootings in Blakely over the weekend.

The Early County Sheriff's Office responded to a call on Saturday at 1:55 a.m. about shots being fired near several nightclubs on North Church Street.

When deputies arrived, they received reports that there had been a fight outside and then several shots were fired. The subjects involved reportedly fled the scene and no witnesses were able to give an accurate suspect description.

There were no reported injuries.

The sheriff's office received another call later that morning about shots being fired at a home on North Church Street. Reports say that a car drove past the house and fired multiple shots into the home.

Deputies say eight people, including a baby, were either inside or immediately outside of the residence at the time of the shooting. No one was injured.

During an investigation of the incident, it was determined that the second shooting was related to the shooting at the nightclub.

ECSO arrested three 20-year-old Blakely men in relation to the shooting at the residence -- Javarious Dequan Price, Erik Yarbrough and Darontae Favors. Each suspect is facing eight counts of aggravated assault.

Investigators are continuing to investigate this incident and anticipate additional arrests as well as additional charges against the suspects already in custody.

Anyone with information on either incident is urged to contact Sheriff’s Investigators at (229) 723-3158.
