FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has announced it will be launching a new technology system for visitation.
FCSO says it'll be launching video visitation on or around April 15.
In an announcement on Facebook, FCSO said, "This will cut the possibility of contraband out of our facility and provide a more convenient way for family to see their loved ones."
Deputies say there will be an option to do a video visit from home for a fee or at the sheriff's office for free.
