FSU Police looking for suspects in armed robbery near campus

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Florida State University Police Department is looking for two suspects in an armed robbery near campus overnight.

Police say the incident happened around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 500 block of W. College Avenue.

Two FSU students were walking in the area as the suspect approached them from behind. The victims told police that the suspect displayed a gun and demanded their personal belongings.

The suspect then got into the passenger side of a silver vehicle and fled the area.

The students were not injured in the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a black male wearing a dark hat, a dark zip-up hoodie jacket, dark glasses, baggy dark colored pants, and a red key chain around his neck. He was armed with a handgun.

The description of the second suspect who was driving the getaway vehicle is unknown. The make and model of the vehicle is also unknown.
