Funeral arrangements set for Cam Brown

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Funeral arrangements have been tentatively set for Cam Brown.

Cam passed away on Saturday. He was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, a few weeks before his high school graduation.

Cam's father, Sam Brown, tweeted out a tentative schedule Monday evening. He says a memorial will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Bethel AME, located at 501 W Orange Ave in Tallahassee. A viewing will take place at Richardson Funeral Home at 2627 S Adams St from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Moon, located at 1105 E Lafayette St.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Florida High alum Cam Brown passed away Saturday morning at the age of 18.


Cam was a standout football player and wrestler for the Seminoles and went on to sign with Western Carolina to play football. His success on the gridiron pales in comparison to the effect he had on people in the community.


He was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, a few weeks before his high school graduation.
