Florida State announces 2018 baseball schedule

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Florida State has announced its full schedule for the 2018 baseball season.

The Noles made their 22nd trip to the College World Series last season, and their first trip since 2012. The program is looking to go to back-to-back CWS' since the 1998-99 campaigns.

FSU's season begins on February 16 for the first of a three-game series against Xavier. The season opens with seven-straight home games against the Musketeers, South Florida and Troy before the first road game of the season on February 27 against Jacksonville.

Overall, the home slate features matchups against Xavier, USF, Troy, Jacksonville, UNC-Asheville, Kansas, Florida, Notre Dame, UCF, Louisville, Duke, Stetson, Miami, The Mount and NC State.

The Noles' road schedule sees them travel to Jacksonville, Wake Forest, Florida, UNC, Georgia Tech, Stetson, Boston College and Clemson.
