Larry Strom gets ready for the FSU-Duke game to begin.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- A sellout crowd of thousands packed the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center tonight for Florida State’s historic win over Duke University, but there is one long-time Noles supporter who’s been courtside-- win or lose-- for years now.

Larry Strom has attended literally thousands of games and says that this year’s team is truly unbelievable.

“I think this is the best team we ever had,” says Strom.

While many have their superstitions, for Strom, his has been being courtside in his front row seat for decades.

“Every time they tip it up, I’m here,” says Strom. “I know something good when I see it.”

It’s all a part of the experience at FSU men’s basketball games.

However, this has been the best start in the program's history, which has brought more Nole fanatics out in full force.

For Strom, he says he’ll continue to keep on supporting the team, no matter what happens next, "I support them win, lose or draw. But to see the opportunity with ten players that are really really good there's no telling what we can do."

With a phenomenal season underway, all FSU fans are hoping to see their team make a deep run in March.
