TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Florida Democrats are reminding residents to sign up for Obamacare.
At the state Capitol on Wednesday, lawmakers held a news conference to get the word out that the healthcare plan is still open for business.
Open enrollment starts November 1.
Democrats say after all the attempts to repeal Obamacare, they want to reassure people the help is still available.
"In the face of repeated driving opposition and attempts to thwart the ACA's continued existence, we rise together, because we know how impactfull and important the policy has been in creating more healthy, more economically secure families and individuals within our communities," said Democratic representative Nicholas Duran.
The Trump administration is slashing advertising for Obamacare by 90 percent. In the past, ad campaigns have lead to more than one-third of enrollments.
