QUINCY, Fla. (WCTV) - A Gadsden County Schools bus that was carrying nine children was rear ended by another vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 4:00 p.m. on Selman Road.
The crash report states that a school bus was stopped on Selman Road with its red stop signs and lights activated. A driver in a Nissan Altima rounded a curve and began to brake for the stopped school bus.
The driver, 35-year-old Cameron Marlowe, told troopers his foot slipped off the brake pedal, causing his car to collide with the back of the bus.
FHP says nine children were on board during the time of the crash, but they were all picked up by their guardians before troopers arrived. There were no reported injuries.
Marlowe was cited for failure to use due care.
