TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Wednesday saw the debuts of a pair of former FSU basketball players as Dwayne Bacon and Jonathan Isaac both helped their respective teams open their season.
In Detroit, Bacon started at power forward for the Charlotte Hornets and finished with eight points and two rebounds (both on the defensive glass) in 20 minutes.
Bacon hit his first career shot in the early going, a three-pointer from the corner.
The Hornets dropped the contest, 102-90.
Jonathan Isaac logged 16 minutes from the Orlando Magic's bench, and finished with four points (going 2-for-3 from the field), including this put back in the first quarter.
Isaac truly made his presence felt on the glass, finishing with eight rebounds, the third-best total for the Magic.
Orlando defeated Miami, 116-109.
