TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Former Leon County Schools Superintendent Jackie Pons has accepted a job at Florida A&M University Developmental Research School.
FAMU officials confirm Pons was hired as a School Development Officer on February 28.
According to FAMU DRS, "The job of School Development Officer is established for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibilities for providing information on programs/services available to students and families as well as school and/or district activities; and, organizing activities for the purpose of soliciting funding."
Pons' annual salary will be $50,000.
