TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Come join the Leon-Havana Relay For Life to help kick cancer's... behind!
The event's 2018 kickoff party is at Killearn Lakes Taekwondo in Tallahassee on Wednesday, October 25th. The free event starts at 6:30 p.m. at 6808 Thomasville Road.
Event organizers are encouraging families and children to attend to sign their teams up, and learn more about participating in the 2018 Relay For Life at Leon High School on April 28.
There is a lot of cancer 'behind' kicking fun planned. Killearn Lakes Taekwondo will be hosting a live martial arts demonstration at the kickoff. Also the first 50 attendees will receive a pink taekwondo belt to take home in honor of breast cancer awareness month.
WCTV Anchor Ben Kaplan, who is returning as the event chair for a second year, will be emceeing the kickoff event.
