Live Oak man in critical condition following Sunday crash

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- A Live Oak man is in critical condition after a Sunday crash in Suwannee County left his truck overturned.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say James Pinkerton, 43, was driving north on 85th Road near CR-136A in Suwannee County around 9:15 p.m. Sunday when he lost control of his pickup truck and hit a fence.

The truck then overturned onto its roof, according to FHP. Pinkerton was taken to Shands UF Hospital in critical condition.

According to an FHP press release, Pinkerton was not wearing a seat belt during the crash.
