TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Donald Trump has the support of many voters in our region.
Eva Decker said, "I'm very happy that Donald Trump won. I think he'll move the country in the right direction."
Anne Marie Deiner was once behind Hillary Clinton for president, but says she eventually changed her mind. She said, "He's got more energy I think. He wants to straighten out a lot of things that should be straightened out."
Not everyone agrees with the election outcome.
Tallahassee resident Linda Debruyne said she's "Disappointed, sad, disillusioned, any of the 'dis' words. Not happy."
Tallahassee resident Natalia Rios voted for the first time. She said, "It wasn't what I expected it to be as in who won. All I can say is, if you didn't vote and you're upset about who won, then it's your own fault. You should've voted."
Seth McCormick says he's trying to remain positive. He said, "Though we may look at him as an outlandish candidate, and he very much is, and he's extremely offensive. The way our government is set up, he really doesn't have too much ability to rock the boat as people thinks. We have Senate, we have House of Representatives, we have lawmakers and our three branches that protects someone from creating a dictatorship like that."
